Kirloskar builds many of its own engines and alternators in-house, which keeps operating costs down and service intervals long. The sets meet international standards including ISO 8528 and ISO 3046 for consistent output under load.
Microprocessor-based controllers, automatic start and AMF options, and sound-attenuated enclosures come as part of the range, so the sets run quietly and start on their own when the power drops.
The design holds output well in high ambient temperatures, which matters on the islands. Options such as fuel transfer pumps and remote monitoring are available to suit the install.
